Dr. Howard Sobel has been recognized by New York magazine and Castle Connolly Top Doctors as one of the best dermatologists and dermatologic surgeons in New York City. He is the Director of Sobel Skin, his thriving practice on Manhattan’s Upper East Side and a true pioneer of the union of dermatology and cosmetic surgery.
A born and bred New Yorker, Dr. Sobel employs a unique and hyper-personalized approach to his practice that extends far beyond your appointment booking. He built Sobel Skin on the guiding principle that everyone is a person-first, patient-second, and number-never.
Dr. Sobel has been an Attending in Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery for more than 20 years at both Lenox Hill Hospital and Beth Israel Medical Center. He received his degree in medicine from the Albert Einstein School of Medicine and completed his residency in dermatology and dermatologic surgery at Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Sobel is frequently called on for his expert opinion and knowledge by national and local media, television programs, magazines and print news outlets.
